Ryan Hubbard, MD; Anderson Orthopedic Clinic, Arlington, VA
Jay Smith, MD; Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN
Ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release (USCTR) represents the next stage in the evolution of carpal tunnel procedures. Currently available ultrasound machines can identify the median nerve, thenar motor branch, digital nerves, and vessels. During this workshop faculty, specializing in hand surgery and ultrasound, will demonstrate USCTR using the revolutionary SX-One MicroKnife. Participants will use ultrasound to identify the carpal tunnel anatomy and perform USCTR with SX-One MicroKnife in cadaveric specimens.
